However, a typical eggwhite gumpaste recipe calls for 12 tsps, we my friends are adding 1 tsp per pound of fondant.The recipe I use (gelatin, glycerin, corn syrup, water, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, shortening) is very sweet.

The dust from the powder goes into the air and it will definitely make you sneeze and cough. If you have any breathing problems, I would recommend a mask. I used it with Borax and Washing Soda to make some powdered laundry soap.

I can never seem to get all of the powdered sugar off the fondant, so I'm not getting a nice clean look. I hate the way it looks.
